Grab Fresh Groceries at the Falls Church Farmers’ Market

By

The Falls Church Farmers’ Market is open year-round, but its variety of vendors and its hours expand this time of year. Starting in April, the market opens an hour earlier (at 8 a.m.) every Saturday morning, and the extended hours remain in place until December. This gives you more time to explore the expansive collection of vendors who set up shop in the City Hall parking lot, some of them only here for the spring and summer seasons.

Kick-off your shopping trip with a treat from Mama’s Donut Bites and a piping hot cup of joe from Catoctin Coffee. Then stop by The Mushroom Stand and Endless Summer Harvest for some locally grown veggies—the latter vendor offers hydroponically grown leafy greens. Or head to Lydia’s Fields for a mix of seasonal veggies and figs or Norma’s Produce for even more fruits and veggies. Looking for a boost from fermented foods to fortify that immune system? Number 1 Sons sells kimchi, pickles, and kombucha, while Fresh Crunch focuses solely on pickles. From artisan bath and body products to gourmet prepared foods, the farmers’ market always has lots to offer!
