A fresh new Japanese-inspired restaurant, based on an old idea. Shabu Plus is the latest creation from Chef Darren Norris and his wife, Candice Wise-Norris. 

Enjoy an updated version of the traditional Japanese Hot Pot with top-grade meats, organic poultry, and sustainable seafood. Quality organic produce and delicious broths will linger in your memory and enlighten your senses. The logo is the Enso circle which symbolizes absolute enlightenment and the wholeness of spirit. While they strive for perfection, yet also elusive. 

The Shabu Plus menu offers a variety of amazing dishes. With a choice of broth either konbu, chicken, or vegan. Then check out some of the deluxe options. Such as Sanuki Olive Fed Wagyu NY Strip Loin, 45-Day Dry Aged Roseda Farm Ribeye, and more! Or, the Premium options include- the American Black Angus Ribeye, Berkshire Heritage Pork Belly, and Amish Black Feather Chicken. 

Or if you’re in the mood for seafood try the Maine Lobster Tail, George’s Bank Scallops, or Jumbo’s Gulf Prawns. 

Shabu Plus is open Tuesdays through Thursdays from 5 pm until 10 pm. Then, Fridays through Sundays from 12 noon until 10 pm. Located at 2321 18th Street NW Washington, DC 20009.
